Graffiti Causes Attempted Suicides

"Its cool that when you jump, you go to a random place on the map now."

"You hear deep looming voices uttering, 'Turn back while you still can! You are going the wrong way!'"

Two attempted suicides. One taunting guest. Did one event have something to do with the other? After thorough investigation, it was concluded that the taunting guest could be none other than the infamous Nezgar but, as to whether the two events were interrelated, readers will have to judge for themselves. Could Nezgar's taunts, defacing many walls in Gates Motel, possibly have led to the attempted suicides of le femme nakita and Jack Squat?

When asked to comment on his taunts, Nezgar said, in a booming demonic voice, "Hehe, it was a silly trick people used to play on new BBS users. The classic games for new games where the BBS would just look at the G, which meant 'goodbye' and it would disconnect the person or Alt-H for Sysop access, hangs up the modem in most PC terminal programs. So, I was curious to see how many 'newbies' would take my cool recommendation of jumping off the water tower!"

Nezgar claimed that his latter taunt was written because when he first arrived at Gates Motel, he considered his efforts lost causes. He decided that adding art to the walls was a means of gaining sympathy from other guests.

Le femme nakita, who describes herself as the lady of the Black Death, was questioned about her suicide attempt and it's relation to Nezgar's taunts. She replied, "(I) Never heard any looming voices... And (I) just happened to jump the wrong way. But not to worry, I'm back!" She then sped off with her nailgun in the direction of the driveway.

Jack Squat, the other suicide, was tracked down and asked the very same question. After careful thought, he answered, "I hear the voices telling me to do strange things yes but I ignore them. Nezgar has no power over me, although he tries. What happened was this, I had gotten a new pair of boots and wondered just how shock absorbent they actually were. Needless to say, the boots got returned immediately."

There is substantial evidence against Nezgar but there are also many doubts as to whether or not he really has control over other people's actions and can lead them to kill themselves or others at his request.

If Nezgar's taunts really did lead to le femme nakita's and Jack Squat's suicides, why would the two deny it? Is Nezgar some sort of mastermind hypnotist slowly plotting to conquer Gates Motel? Were le femme nakita's and Jack Squat's attempted suicides deviously planned so that if there were to be any other 'suicides' in the future, no one would suspect foul play?

There are many unanswered questions and yet, the only way to determine the truth, is in the eye of the beholder.
