Copyright and Content Ownership on Gameslate
Gameslate is a community site and as such is populated with content from a variety of people. Gameslate does not encourage the usage of copyrighted images or other content within user profiles or forum messages, but the occasional reference or clip of commercially copyrighted content is bound to appear now and then.
Gameslate does not accept direct responsibility for copyright violations. We do believe however, that given the nature of user icons for homage, satire and other fandom-related intentions, the vast majority of references are likely to be 'fair usage' under international copyright law.
If you are a copyright holder and you believe that your works have been violated by Gameslate users, please contact Rog and state the exact content and violation and we will attempt to remove such content.
